With deep, rich colour palettes and timeless, robust finishes, The River Lodge exudes understated luxury, evoking the warmth of the countryside, with rich leather seating, panelling, and soft tartan textiles that recall the comfort of a hunting lodge or rural manor. Natural textures, heritage patterns, and a palette of earthy greens, saddle browns, and weathered greys create a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. Each space was carefully curated to balance grandeur with intimacy — offering residents the freedom to socialise, dine, recharge, or simply enjoy the moment.

Key features include:

• A welcoming café, bar, and private dining room, designed for easy conversation and connection with family and friends

• Comfortable lounge areas and a cinema for entertainment and relaxation

• A library nook and activities room to encourage creativity, movement and quiet focus

• Onsite hair and beauty salon, offering an elevated self-care experience

• Large outdoor areas which are a seamless extension of the land itself; furniture selections were made to sit in respectful dialogue with the woven macrame Tukutuku created for the buildings entrance using woven textures, and soft forms that sit gently against the landscape, honouring the rhythms of te taiao (the natural world).
