the brief:
Having previously worked with these clients before, we were tasked with designing the interiors of their dream home to match the outstanding location. Set on the Matua ridgeline with uninterrupted views out to the Mount and over Tauranga’s harbour, it was decided that the finishes would be strong yet understated so as not to take away from the spectacular vista.
the outcomes:
The home’s strong architectural design is reflected in the bold and robust materials chosen for the project, complimented by the noble and natural materials which add softness and warmth to create this contemporary interior. Sleek lines and architectural detailing are joined by the layering of soft textures and neutral tones peppered with rich and earthy hues, creating a calming atmosphere.
