THE BEACH PAD
the brief:
The clients wanted to refurbish their Mount Maunganui beachside home from a bland concrete box into a luxe beach pad that would act as a holiday home when away from their Hawkes Bay residence. The client gave the Urban Lounge Interiors team complete creative control.
the outcomes:
This home now has a renewed layout, thoughtful lighting, feature wallpapers and soft furnishings that speak to the brief. The team used noble materials, smoky finishes in mineral colours to create a luxe feel. Minimal understated touches that are high quality and that will look good well into the future.
design details:
The freestanding vessel and smoked mirror in the powder room is one of our favourite features, along with the custom book shelving in the living room. The steel custom fireplace surround with storage is an understated look that puts smiles on our faces!
