With more than 30 years' experience in the interiors industry, Mel brings a wealth of knowledge to every project, with extensive knowledge in the areas of fabrics, window furnishings and drapery. Combining her expertise in interior design with business development, she's passionate about helping clients create spaces that are not only beautiful but thoughtfully tailored to the way they live and work.

For Mel, the most rewarding part of the job is building lasting relationships with clients. Every project brings a new personality, a different style and a unique vision, making each design journey both collaborative and inspiring.

Her own design style is eclectic. While she's naturally drawn to the timeless appeal of mid-century design, she enjoys borrowing elements from many different aesthetics to create interiors with warmth, character and authenticity.

Inspired by nature, Mel has a particular appreciation for natural fibres, organic textures and quality materials that stand the test of time. With decades of experience specifying textiles and drapery, she has an exceptional eye for selecting fabrics that enhance both the beauty and functionality of a space.

If she had to choose a favourite part of any room, it would be the bed. She loves the art of layering beautiful bedding and textiles to create spaces that feel inviting, comfortable and luxurious.

Outside the studio, you'll find Mel enjoying a good book, listening to music, walking in nature or, every now and then, embracing a little adventure by jumping off something!

Her philosophy is simple: Do what brings you joy (not annoy). It's a sentiment that guides both her life and the spaces she helps create.
