The design centred on creating an immersive experience that appealed to both seasoned golfers and newcomers alike. Careful spatial planning allowed for two state-of-the-art golf simulators, a welcoming members' lounge, kitchenette, merchandise displays and flexible social spaces, while maintaining excellent flow throughout the venue. Rather than relying on overt sporting references, the design subtly celebrates the game through curved architectural forms, bespoke detailing and a refined material palette of walnut, rust, charcoal and warm neutral tones.
Acoustics and durability were integral to the success of the project. Walnut acoustic wall panelling softens the expansive space while enhancing sound quality, complemented by integrated lighting that creates a focused yet relaxed atmosphere. Custom furniture selections, stone surfaces, luxurious upholstery and bespoke joinery elevate the members' experience, while robust flooring systems were carefully specified to withstand the demands of golf play without compromising the overall aesthetic.
Bunker Golf demonstrates how thoughtful commercial interior design can transform a functional space into a memorable destination—an environment where sport, hospitality and design work seamlessly together.
